Oh Yes He Did!!

Here's what you need to know before you look at this picture... 1) Jaden will do absolutely ANYTHING for his sister. Jaden adores Mea. He waits for her when she is gone and they play the whole times she is here. He plays whatever she wants to play and will about anything she tells him. In return, she lets him sleep in her bed snuggled up with her. Their relationship is so close, and I pray daily it continues... 2) Jaden is the toughest "boy's boy." I have ever met. He is tough, hardly ever cried, and is pure boy. He loves balls, animals, and make believe. 3) I'm saving this picture for high school girl friends, 16th birthday cakes, and wedding receptions! 4) I keep this picture in my head and giggle to myself about it!

Christmas

Christmas was magical! All of the kids loved it, the tree, the gifts, the lights. Everyone still believes in Santa, and so many times I felt my heart melt as I watch the kids give eachother made gifts, or sit in front of the tree. I even got a photo of all the kids together...Here's some of our facvorite traditions...

I chopped it off!!

I cut all the craziness off! I was growing my hair out. For what?- I don't know. Found a picture I liked and decided to take the plunge and get rid of it. The kids hate it, Jared likes it, and I love it. So much easier, less time blow drying it, less food and sticky found in it, and a little more sassy.

Bubble Snakes

The weather was perfect Thursday so we took time to make Bubble Snakes. Super easy...water bottle, old sock and bubbles. Lots of fun! The only problem we ran into was the kids sucking for air through the bottle which made soapy solution go down their throats. Not so yummy- but they got the hang of it fast.

Love

Found Mea asleep, with a book, light on. My heart melted. I hope she falls in love with Shel Silverstien- one of my favorites. She really is as much as an angel as she looks here...most of the time!

Happy Birthday Papa

My Papa's birthday is tomorrow, so this post is for him. For those of you who don't know Papa Davis- he's one of my heroes. I am 29 and am still his one of his babies. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Besides my parents, Papa and Grandma have been my biggest cheerleaders...they have been there for everything,at every sporting event from the time I was 5 no matter if I was running state or sitting the bench, every birth, every wedding, every time I needed, and lots of times when I didn't. At 70 he was on my hands and knees mopping my floors after Jensen was born and is the best supervisor around. Whenever I see yellow felt gloves, avon chapstick, loafers, and the Cardinals- I think of Papa. Thanks for letting me still be one of your babies! So, Happy Birthday Papa! We hope we've made you proud!
